The inaugural European Sport Tourism Summit will takes place at Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick on Thursday May 15th 2014.

The conference will bring together international experts in the fastest growing sector in the global tourism and sports industries to develop new thinking on how Sport Tourism can continue its dramatic growth and benefit countries, cities and local communities.

Organised by W2 Consulting, with the support of lead sponsors Shannon Airport, and partners BDO, the conference will be an annual event in Limerick and aimed at becoming the ‘Davos’ of the sports and tourism industry.

The event is tailored for national and international sports bodies, federations, clubs, local government and communities here and abroad eager to maximize their assets by developing major sports tourism events, from major global tournaments to local mass participation events.
