Lake Loch Lomond with its scintillating natural beauty, and the wilderness of the wooded shorelines and the alpine green forests is one of the major international . To the Northern and Eastern edge of the Loch is the Trossachs National Park, a spectacular area of scenically beautiful forests and picturesque lochs.
The Loch Lomond Lake is also internationally famous for its association with the legendary outlaw Rob Roy made so famous in Sir Walter Scott’s writings.
Not only that, the Lake is also famous world over for the mysterious prehistoric Sea monster Nessie, which is said to have been seen by innumerable tourists on several, occasions surfacing on the lake.

Apart from the scenic beauties and historical significance, the Lake is also famous for boating and water-sporting activities like kayaking, water skiing, canoeing, jet skiing, speed boating– and the surrounding woodlands are ideal for camping, hiking, fishing and as a spectacular picnic spot.
