CROW is the Centre For Rehabilitation Of Wildlife is situated in Yellowwood Park in Durban.

Hluhluwe - Umfolozi Game Reserve

The famous Hluhluwe - Umfolozi Game Reserve with breathtaking views is certainly a must do/see. They are the oldest Game Reserves in Africa.
Safari’s in Hluhluwe with its rolling hills as well as outstanding sun rise scenic photographic platforms, offers wild rich history. The Park boasts the famous Big Five as well as the endangered Wild Dogs in Africa. Hey everyone! I go to School at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and am currently enrolled in an urban geography class. Our current project is to begin to define an image of the city of Chicago. Our group chose a cultural angle based on what travel sites and other tourist sites touted as Chicago's premier cultural attractions. They boiled down to these groups (see below). I'd really appreciate some help on this one. The weather here is really NOT facilitating the interviewing strategy I had in mind. It's a really quick survey - the first thing that pops into your head. It doesn't matter if you're a resident, a visitor or live in an entirely different country

    I'm taking a year out from 'the real world' to travel around the world, and I had considered going to South Africa. Does anybody out there who has lived or been to South Africa have any thoughts on the matter?

    One thing that concerned me is that, with the world cup coming up, woul …erhaps because of Russia's hostility towards outide visitors, places like the Kremlin and st Basil's cathedral retain a certain vestige which the massive tourist sites in India lack. So, I wonder how the state of affairs will be in South Africa, and if anyone can tell me, that would be grrreat.

    • The state of affairs in South Africa is pretty good. I dont really know what you are worried about. Sure with the 2010 coming up, the country is going to be a little more hectic than it normally is. South Africa is a beautiful place, with lots of places to see and tons of things to do. Extremel …e hang were you thinking of. I am a very proud born and bred South African. Google Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban. I dont like Johannesburg, although it is huge and known as the City of Gold. Very fast, very busy and very big. You will be sorry if you miss the opportunity. Enjoy
