Tourism Economic Development Breakfast

RTO12 / Explorers’ Edge in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport will be hosting a Tourism Economic Development Breakfast with guest speaker David Paul, Director Economic Development for City of Brockville.

Mr. Paul has been involved with the economic development and tourism profession for 40 years in various Ontario regions with Ministry of Industry and Tourism. He has recently spoken at the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario conference providing an excellent presentation on how they identified Brockville’s tourism assets, applied to MTCS’s tourism development fund to hire a consultant to scope out an opportunity, leverage resources and creatively land the Aquaterium.

The morning will be an informal opportunity to network and hear about Mr. Paul work in economic development as it relates to Tourism. James Lynn will also provide our region a brief Ministry update regarding the Tourism Investment Strategy.
